The public review period for the Burbank to Los Angeles Project Section Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) closed on August 31, 2020. The Final Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) was issued on November 5, 2021. Please visit the California High-Speed Rail Authority website for more information.

This is an archive of the Open House website that was available from May 29, 2020 to August 31, 2020. The Authority created this website to provide enhanced access to the Draft EIR/EIS in response to health and safety directives concerning the novel coronavirus. This website remains available to the public, although visitors may no longer submit a comment on the Draft EIR/EIS, schedule an appointment, or participate in a webinar (these features are no longer active on this site).

This map depicts the environmental footprint, which represents the maximum area that the project will be impacting, as defined in the environmental document.

It is important to note that this is the information that was included in the Draft EIR/EIS released in May 2020. The Final EIR/EIS was released on November 5, 2021 and includes refinements to the project footprint and potential property impacts. Please visit the Authority’s website to review the Final EIR/EIS with the most updated information.

Property acquisition would not begin until after the Final EIR/EIS is considered by the Authority Board of Directors, which is currently planned for January 2022.
