The public review period for the Burbank to Los Angeles Project Section Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) closed on August 31, 2020. The Final Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) was issued on November 5, 2021. Please visit the California High-Speed Rail Authority website for more information.

This is an archive of the Open House website that was available from May 29, 2020 to August 31, 2020. The Authority created this website to provide enhanced access to the Draft EIR/EIS in response to health and safety directives concerning the novel coronavirus. This website remains available to the public, although visitors may no longer submit a comment on the Draft EIR/EIS, schedule an appointment, or participate in a webinar (these features are no longer active on this site).

Note: Office hours for the Draft EIR/EIS process are no longer available.

Staff will be available to answer questions and help navigate the Draft EIR/EIS during virtual office hours.

Virtual office hours, held in the form of 15-minute webinars, are offered:

  • Friday, August 14 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

  • Tuesday, August 18 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, August 20 from 12 – 2 p.m.

  • Monday, August 24 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

  • Wednesday, August 26 from 1 – 3 p.m.

  • Thursday, August 27 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Additional dates/times may be available upon request. Appointments are conducted through Zoom, unless a conference call format is preferred.

  1. Use this form (the form is no longer active) to sign up for an appointment with staff. Language interpretation will be provided if requested through the form.

  2. Accept the calendar invitation. You should receive the calendar invitation within one to two business days of completing the form. The calendar invite will include instructions on how to join the webinar.

  3. At the scheduled time, please join the webinar via computer or phone to discuss your question with staff (and interpreter if required).

Comments on the Draft EIR/EIS will not be accepted during staff office hour appointments.
